The technology of Condensing Flue Gas Heat Recovery is designed to recover/remove the heat energy from the exhaust of combusted fossil fuels. Power plants have a lot of combustred exhaust. When the heat energy is removed, water is created. If a power plant recovers just 20% of this water from it's exhaust, it could be self sufficient. If it were to recover more it could be a water supplier to the local community. This distilled water is very useable. Water can also be created at large commercial buildings and at industry that consume large volumes of natural gas. In every 1 million Btu's of combusted natural gas are 5 gallons of recoverable distilled water. Taking the heat energy out of this waste exhaust and utilizing it will also help in the battle against global warming. For every 1 million Btu's of heat energy that is recovered from this combusted natural gas and is utilized, 117 lbs of CO2 will not be put into the atmosphere. Increasing Energy Efficiency will not only help conserve our water needs but also it will help to battle Climate Change.
